If you're a longtime Pickup Music member, you may have noticed that your progress hasn't carried over to the new site. We know this is frustrating. Here's an explanation of why we couldn't transfer over your progress and what you can do.
Why your progress didn't transfer
Our new platform is a complete custom rebuild. For our old site, we were dependent on a white-label course platform which did not give us access to lesson data in a way that could be carried over to the new site.
You have two options to work around this:
Option 1. You can finish off classes on the old site
You can still access the old site to finish off your existing classes. We will keep this live for the next 6 months or so (but new class releases will only go on the new site).
Option 2. Quickly mark your progress on the new site
There are a few fast ways to mark your progress on the new site.
Learning Pathways
You can complete a day by clicking on the three dots menu in the top right corner and marking the day as complete.
You can complete an entire grade by passing the final quiz in any grade. Just click on the quiz button in the curriculum sidebar. This will mark the full grade as complete.
You can also complete an entire Learning Pathway by passing the Grade 6 quiz. This will mark the entire Learning Pathway as complete.
Challenges & Artist Series
You can complete a day or lesson by clicking on the three dots menu in the top right corner and marking it as complete.
You can complete an entire Challenge or Artist Series by clicking "Complete class" in the curriculum sidebar.
