Tablature (or TAB) is a guitar-specific music notation system that consists of six lines representing the six strings of the guitar.

  • The strings are ordered as you'd hear them, so the lowest string is the lowest line.
  • Fret numbers are displayed on the lines indicating which fret to play on a given string.
  • A "0" on a line represents an open string being played
