Pickup Music offers 1:1 video feedback from expert coaches to help you refine your technique and make real progress. This feature provides personalized guidance at a fraction of the cost of in-person lessons.
How it works
Choose a performance piece – At the end of each Learning Pathway grade, you’ll choose a song to play.
Record & upload your video – Submit a video of yourself playing the piece. (See How to film a feedback video for tips.)
Receive detailed feedback – A coach will review your performance and send you a personalized video critique with constructive guidance. You can find your feedback response in the Coaching section.
When and where you’ll receive feedback
Response time – It typically takes about one week for a coach to review your submission.
Notification – We'll send an email when your feedback is ready. Make sure you have your email notifications enabled. Check your spam or updates folder! Sometimes feedback emails may be filtered into spam.
Where you can find it – Go to Coaching → 1:1 feedback. This is where you can view a library of your past submissions.

Important notes
One submission per grade – You’ll receive feedback on one performance piece per Learning Pathway grade.
Multiple submissions – If more than one song is submitted, feedback will only be provided on the first submission.
