Live lesson guidelines

How to participate and get the most out of each session

Updated over 3 weeks ago

To ensure an engaging and productive experience for everyone, please follow these guidelines during live lessons.

Participate actively

  • Feel free to ask questions and interact with the Guitar Mentor.

  • Use the Zoom chat or raise your hand if you’d like to speak.

  • If you’re invited to unmute, keep your questions brief and relevant so everyone benefits.

  • If you need help during the session, privately message the Zoom host for assistance.

Mute when not speaking

  • Stay muted unless invited to speak to reduce background noise.

  • This helps keep the lesson clear and focused for all participants.

Be respectful

  • Encourage and support your fellow guitarists. Everyone is here to learn.

  • Avoid interrupting the Mentor or other students while they’re speaking.

  • Keep chat messages on-topic and helpful. Spamming is not allowed.

No recording, but take notes

  • For privacy and respect, recording or sharing lesson footage is not allowed.

  • Lessons will be available in the Live Lesson Replays section of the Community.

  • AI notetakers are prohibited.

  • We encourage you to take notes to reinforce what you learn.

Enjoy the experience

  • Ask questions, challenge yourself, and stay engaged with the learning process.

  • Live lessons are an opportunity to grow as a musician in a supportive environment.
