Live lesson guidelines

How to participate in and get the most out of each session

Updated yesterday

To ensure an engaging and productive experience for everyone, please follow these guidelines during live lessons.

How to participate

  • Use the Zoom chat or click "🙋‍♂️ raise hand" if you’d like to speak.

  • If you’re invited to unmute by the host or mentor, keep your questions brief and relevant so everyone benefits.

  • If you need help during the session, privately message the Zoom host for assistance.

Mute when not speaking

  • Stay muted unless invited to speak to reduce background noise.

  • This helps keep the lesson clear and focused for all participants.

Be respectful

  • Encourage and support your fellow musicians. Everyone is here to learn.

  • Keep messages and questions on-topic. Spamming is not allowed.

Recording prohibited, note-taking encouraged

  • For privacy and respect, recording or sharing lesson footage is not allowed.

  • If you miss the lesson or join late, you can find the official recording in the live lesson replays section of the community within a few days after the lesson.

  • AI notetakers are prohibited from entering the room.

  • We encourage you to take notes to reinforce what you learn.

Enjoy the experience

  • Ask questions, challenge yourself, and stay engaged with the learning process.

  • Bring your guitar, and don't be afraid to ask questions!

  • Live lessons are an opportunity to grow as a musician in a supportive environment.
