Why isn't a grade or lesson showing as complete?

If you completed a grade or lesson, but it's not marked as completed, the solution might be as easy as a click of a button.

Pickup's progress-tracking features are a great way to keep your guitar journey in perspective.

If you've completed lessons or grades, and you aren't seeing the progress reflected on the website, you likely just need to click a button.

What to do if your progress isn't updating on a Learning Pathway

Once you complete the final quiz for any Learning Pathway grade, you'll be redirected to a "Grade complete" page.

  • In order for your progress to update, you need to click the "Complete Grade X" button at the bottom of the page.

  • This will cause a trophy πŸ† to appear in your Learning Pathway sidebar, and your progress should update across the site.

  • The button will say "Grade completed" after you click it.

If this doesn't do the trick, contact us through the chat pop-up in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

What to do if your progress isn't updating on a Master Class or lesson

If your progress isn't updating in a Master Class, make sure the "Mark as complete" button at the bottom of the page says "Completed".

  • Note: Watching a lesson video all the way through will automatically "complete" the lesson. You can click the button to "un-complete" it if you aren't quite done with it yet.

If the button doesn't do the trick, contact us through the chat pop-up in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

Where you can see your tracked progress

On the logged-in homepage of Pickup Music

On the sidebar and overview page of any Learning Pathway

On the sidebar of any Master Class (bottom of the page on mobile)
